The U15's were away this weekend against Wortley FC.The girls started well in very windy conditions. After 15 minutes Hemsworth went one in front with some good football leading to Nicky scoring.
Hemsworth created a few chances with Briony coming close on a couple of occasions putting in a very good performance throughout.
Wortley created a few chances of their own but never really threatened a goal.
The second half saw Hemsworth slowing down in response to the sleet and wind! Which let Wortley in with their first goal.

Hemsworth were soon back on top with some good inter play from Brogan and Nicky which led to Lucy scoring her first of three.
Hemsworth kept the pressure up with Nicky and Jade prominent on the wings. The third goal was created with some good play from Briony who ended up on the floor but still able to make a telling pass to Lucy. Wortley broke clear to score their second of the match.
Hemsworth dug deep for the last ten minutes with some good defending from Giggs, Paige, Jess and Samantha Dyson.

Lucy finished her hat trick with a good individual goal.Well done girls and still on course for clinching the league, providing we continue to put in performances like this! We can do it!
